In September 2006, Shaun Walker founded DotNetNuke Corporation, or DNN Corp., dedicated to the ongoing stewardship and management of the DotNetNuke project.

" To provide some context, when I originally launched DotNetNuke as an open source project [Edit.: 2002] and quit my day job to manage it full-time, I did so from my home in Abbotsford, B.C. After we closed our Series A round of funding, we established an Engineering office in Abbotsford, B.C. which served our needs until our aggressive growth made it necessary to find a new home. In the spring of 2010 we moved our Engineering office to the Walnut Grove Commerce Center in Langley, B.C. where we now have 18 full-time employees ( and 48 employees worldwide )." 

Founded in 2006 and funded by Sierra Ventures, August Capital, and UV Partners [Edit.: in 2008], DotNetNuke Corp. is headquartered in San Mateo, Calif.
